We are so glad that you logged onto the Bible Study for Women blog at Monmouth Worship Center. In upcoming posts we will unfold it's vision and purpose but for now let's just take a peek at what awaits us starting in the fall on Tuesday mornings.
The time has come, the seventy years of captivity for God’s chosen people has been fulfilled, God stirs a Kings heart, a proclamation is written and it is heralded throughout his kingdom.
“The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him in Jerusalem in Judah. Anyone of his people among you- may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the LORD, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem.” Ezra 1:2-3
What an opportunity for God’s chosen ones! What an adventure! Join us this fall as we journey through the pages of scripture with the returning exiles to Jerusalem. There we will follow their progress as we work our way through the study of the books of Ezra and Nehemiah. We will dive into such weighty topics as the providence of God and His restoring power, the man God uses, holiness, prayer, revival, spiritual warfare, and genuine worship as well as many other relevant areas of study for us personally as a church today.
It should be an exciting time of discovery as we delve into the Word of God together. We hope to see you there!
Start date: September 14th, 2010
Where: Monmouth Worship Center – Fellowship Hall
Time: 9:30-11:30

ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I have been reading Ezra over the summer. What an appropriate study as we're in the midst of building the new building for the Lord! Arlene, may the Lord bless, guide and protect you as you lead this Women's Bible Study. May He show you how to equip us as He enlarges our territory! Looking forward to exciting times ahead! God Bless!
